This page explains what happens to the details you give when you ask for a free check of your store on askojo.ai. In short: we keep very little, only to run your check and contact you, and we delete it when you ask.
Who holds your data
Anshul Kalra, who runs AskOjo (it isn't a company yet; this page will be updated when it is). Contact: [email protected].
What we collect
What you type:
- your name, if you give it
- your email address
- your store's website
- the countries your customers shop from, ticked or typed
- that you ticked the box saying you run the store or work for it
What is captured automatically when you send the form:
- the country your connection comes from (from Cloudflare; we don't store your IP address)
- the page that linked you here, without any search terms or codes in its address
- any campaign tags in the link you used (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign)
- which version of this page you saw
- the date and time
We don't use analytics, ads or tracking cookies.
Why, and on what basis
Only to run the free check of your store, reply to you, and see where interest comes from. We use it because you chose to send it (your consent). You can withdraw that at any time by emailing [email protected]. We never sell it or share it for marketing.
Who processes it for us
- Cloudflare hosts this site, stores your details in its database for askojo.ai, runs the spam check (Cloudflare Turnstile), and emails us a copy of each request (Cloudflare Email Routing). Cloudflare may process data outside the UK and EU under its data processing terms.
- Google (Gmail): the email copy of each request arrives in our Gmail inbox, so we see it quickly.
- Notion: we may copy your details by hand into a private Notion workspace that only AskOjo uses, to follow up.
How long we keep it
If we haven't worked with you, we delete your details 12 months after you last sent the form. If you become a customer or design partner, we keep them while we work together.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, or to stop hearing from us. Email [email protected] and we'll do it within 30 days. If you're unhappy with how we handled it, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or the data protection authority where you live.
